End corruption in power sector: Nasrul

State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid on Saturday urged the officials of the Rural Electrification Board (REB) to check corruption in power sector. “If we fail to check corruption and irregularities, all the achievements in power sector will be jeopardized,” he told a meeting with the REB officials at the organisation’s headquarters at Nikunja of Khilkhet in the city.He said allegations of irregularities and corruption are tarnishing the image of the REB, according to a news agency.
