End to extrajudicial killings demanded

Speakers at a sit-in programme in the city on Wednesday demanded stopping extrajudicial killings and fair investigation into and trial of every incident of secret killings. They also observed the whole country, including Narayanganj, has turned into a death valley as incidents of abductions and secret killings have marked an alarming rise. Ganasanghati Andolan organised the programme in front of the National Press Club to protest abductions and secret killings. Chief coordinator of the organisation Zonayed Saki presided over the programme, according to a news agency.
