Ending harassment

Tuesday, 1 October 2019

People talk on the social media about incidents of harassment of women in public places on a regular basis, but there is no end of it. We read reports whenever there is a major incident, be it rape or killing, and then society almost forgets and returns to the same situation. In such a context, citizens should try to raise an issue judiciously so that it does not lose public attention. When there is a real problem, no one can deny. We as young people believe the government authorities would take effective steps to address harassment of women and make society safer for girls of today and tomorrow. We expect our leadership to show us light and the path to build a secure, peaceful. harmonious society.
