LONDON, Dec 31 (AFP): England have drafted uncapped Hampshire batsman Michael Carberry into their squad for the third Test against South Africa as cover for Paul Collingwood, British media reported Wednesday.
Collingwood suffered a finger injury in fielding practice ahead of the fourth day of England's second Test victory and, although X-rays revealed the Durham batsman had broken no bones, Carberry was called up in case he doesn't make the Cape Town clash, which starts on January 3.
