England U-19 post 3-wkt win over Bangladesh U-19

Visiting England Under-19 team posted a three-wicket victory over Bangladesh U-19 team in the 6th Youth One Day International (ODI) of the Seven-match ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium (SBNS) Monday, reports UNB.
Put in to bat first, Bangladesh team scored 224 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs with opener Anamul Haq contributing 74 runs off 121 balls with three fours and middle order Sabbir Hossain 53.
Calum Haggett captured three wickets for 21 runs while Azeem Rafique bagged two for 44.
In reply, England U-19 team reached the target of 225 runs in 48.4 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
Midddle order A Javed, who was adjudged player of the match, scored 63 runs off 85 balls with six fours and a six while opener Joe Root scored 48 runs off 96 balls with three fours.
Mahmudul Hasan grabbed three wickets for 33 runs.
The 7th and the last match between the two sides will be held on Wednesday at the same venue. Bangladesh U-19 team has already won the series 4-2.
