Ensuring fair price to farmers emphasised

The annual conclave of ACI Crop Care 2015 was held at ACI Centre in the city Saturday, said a press release.
The two-day conclave was attended by around 200 Field Force members from all over the country including marketing team and other guests from the industry.
M Anis Ud Dowla, chairman of ACI Group delivered his speech as the chief guest in the programme. In his statement he congratulated the entire team ACI Crop Care for their hard work and sincere efforts against all odds and urged them to keep on making improvement in their deliveries and commitment.
He also emphasised that ACI Crop Care's aim should be to give higher return on investment and fair value to the farmers by helping in protecting their crops that in turn, would change the lifestyle of the farmers for their betterment.
Finally he awarded Habibur Rahman, general manager (GM), Marketing with Gold Madel, for his wonderful achievement on Flora.
Ms Shusmita Anis, managing director (MD) of ACI Formulations Ltd presented her speech mentioning that "ACI is the biggest integrated agricultural conglomerates in the country that has been relentlessly working for enhancement of farmers’ lives and agricultural scenario of the country.
Moreover, as ACI is marketing all the products related to agriculture at reasonable prices, thus, ACI is working side by side with the government, contributing to food security of Bangladesh."
Dr S Ramaswamy, director of International Business Devi Cropscience Pvt Ltd was present as the special guest on the occasion.
B M Shaifullah, general manager, Sales has declared achievers’ name for significant sales achievement in 2014.
The best performers of the year 2014 were recognised and awarded by Ms Shusmita Anis.
The day’s programme was followed by a colourful cultural programme and the team left with high spirit of enthusiasm and motivation.
