Environment Dept beat Genetic Engg

Soil, Water and Environment Department beat Genetic Engineering Department by 68 runs in the opening match of the Dhaka University (DU) Inter-Department Cricket Competition at the Jagannath Hall ground in the city Monday, reports UNB.
Pro VC AFM Yusuf Haider inaugurated the competition as the chief guest while Jagannath Hall Provost Ajoy Kumar Das, DU Cricket Committee President Dr Mohammad Didar-ul-Alam and acting director of Physical Training Centre Shaukatur Rahman were, among others, present on the occasion.
Some 45 departmental teams are taking part in the meet.
