Erecting footbridge in front of Dhaka College

Dhaka College is a renowned educational institution in the capital. Thousands of students are currently studying at this institution. And it is located in one of the busiest areas of Dhaka city. Besides New Market and other shopping centres, this area has a number of educational institutions like Government Laboratory School and College, Teachers Training College and Bangladesh Open University. So, this place always remains crowded. But there is no foot over-bridge in front of Dhaka College. Every day many people including students have to cross this road risking their lives. Buses plying the road care little about the movements of students. Sometimes, students get injured in car or rickshaw collision. Also, the stripes of zebra crossing in front of Dhaka College and Teachers Training College has faded away since.
Therefore, we request the authorities concerned to footbridge as early as possible in front of Dhaka College so that the students can cross the road smoothly and safely.
