ERF Institute launches academic programme

The Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) Institute started the journey of its academic programme on Monday.
Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed inaugurated the programme by unveiling a plaque on the ERF premises in the capital.
A MoU was also signed between the ERF Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) at the beginning of a seminar on 'Financial Transparency in Corporate Sector' on the occasion.
ERF General Secretary Abul Kashem and ICAB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shubhashish Bose signed the MoU. ERF President Doulot Akter Mala and ICAB President N K A Mobin were witnesses of the MoU signing.
Under the MoU, the ERF and the ICAB will exchange their knowledge and share expertise between journalists and chartered accountants.
At the programme, Asjadul Kibria, the ERF Institute Chief Co-coordinator, conducted a brief needs assessment survey to plan and offer courses by October.
The ERF Institute's founding committee members were honoured with crests for their contribution in starting its formal structure in 2016-2018 term.
