Ershad asks JP men to ensure security of SSC examinees

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad has instructed the party leaders and activists to ensure the safety of SSC candidates on the streets as well as around examination centres during programmes like hartal and blockade, reports UNB.
In a statement, he also urged the BNP-led 20-party alliance to withdraw programmes like hartal and blockade for the sake of the candidates of SSC and equivalent examinations.
The parents and teachers of the students are deeply concerned about the current trend of politics and such politics do not bear any sign of comfort, he said.
