Ershad dismisses his resignation report

Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad dismissed report Monday of his resignation from the party terming it mere a rumour.
“To whom I’ll tender my resignation? Who is this great man? Why should I resign when I am the supreme authority of the party?” Ershad told UNB.
Ershad, who founded the party, said Jatiya Party will have no existence without him as long as he is alive. “I don’t have any plan to quit the party.”
