Ershad off to India on six-day visit

Jatiya Party (JP) chairman HM Ershad left Dhaka Saturday for Kolkata, India on a six-day 'private' visit, said a party official, reports UNB.
Ershad's son Eric Ershad and personal secretary Maj (retd) Khaled Akhter also accompanied Ershad.
The JP chief, also a special envoy to the Prime Minister, is scheduled to return home Thursday.
