Thursday, 3 July 2014

Special Envoy to the Prime Minister and Chairman of Jatiya Party Hussein Mohammad Ershad on Thursday urged all to forget the past and establish real democracy by involving all. Addressing the closing sitting of the current budget session in parliament, Ershad, on behalf of the Leader of the Opposition Raushan Ershad, said his party is working as the shadow government. Referring to provocation of the Jatiya Party (JP), he said those who are out against his party are criticising democracy. ‘The people want transparency, peace and democracy from the Prime Minister as the daughter of Bangabandhu,’ Ershad said. The JP chief called for immediate end to terrorism, anarchy and violence related to tender and said the nation would keep Sheikh Hasina in memory like Bangabandhu if their wellbeing is ensured. Ershad said JP does not believe in negative politics and the party would play its effective role in the House, according to BSS.
