Ershad's health improves

Health condition of Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad, receiving treatment at the United Hospital, remained stable Wednesday. Physicians said Ershad was kept at the Intensive Care Unit, as he had Hypo Volumic Shock due to a sudden loss of huge blood from his colon. He was given 10 bags of blood. A close aide of the former president said Ershad is taking food normally from Wednesday. On March 31, he was admitted into the same hospital, after a bout of vomiting. — UNB
