Eskayef eyes Middle East market

Eskayef Bangladesh Ltd, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer and exporter of the country, eyes the markets of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCE) countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Yemen and the Sultanate of Oman and other Middle Eastern countries as part of its massive business expansion in international arena.
Eskayef started export of its bulk pellets to the UAE in 2006, said a press release.
Eskayef also exported six tonnes of bulk pellets to one of the leading UK MHRA approved pharmaceutical companies in the UAE in the same year.
"Our bulk pellets export to the UAE, which is one of the highly regulated pharmaceutical markets in the world, is indeed a great achievement for our country. It also reflects the quality standard of our products," said Eskayef's Managing Director AM Faruque.
He further said: ''We will export our bulk pellets to some other GCC countries very soon.''
'' e have already appointed Solyman Services Ltd, one of the leading chemical distributors in GCC region, to act as our exclusive distributor for bulk pellets," he added.
He said : ''We are going to ship our finished products to Iraq very soon. Countries like Syria, Yemen, Lebanon are under registration pipeline. However, we are expecting a very good business in future."
''We are growing very fast in the international market and planning to export more than US$1.5 million in 2007," he added.
