Essentials' prices stable in city: BDR

The retail price of the most of essentials remained almost stable in the city markets while price of some items such as onion, green chili and hilsha fish have slightly been increased, a market report of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) said Monday, reports BSS.
Besides, the price of most of the vegetables came down further as the supply of the items continued to increase, the market report added.
The BDR report said, the price of coarse rice in different markets, including Kamalapur, New Market, Karwanbazar, Kalyanpur, Kachukhet and Mohammadpur, ranged between Tk 22 and Tk 23 per kg Sunday.
