ESU Bangladesh chapter to be launched today

The Bangladesh chapter of the UK-based English Speaking Union (ESU) is set to announce its formal launching today with a goal to create global understanding through English and promote the language as the medium for the country's interaction with the outside world.
British High Commissioner in Dhaka Stephen Evans will host the launching ceremony of ESU Bangladesh as its chief patron at his residence.
The International Council of ESU ratified the organisation's Bangladesh chapter as an independent entity at its global conference in London in October, 2009 along with Malta and Turkey.
