Etihad Crystal Cargo awards 13 agents

The Etihad Crystal Cargo Thursday awarded 13 of its cargo agents at the gala Agents Award Night 2010 organised at a city hotel.
In presence of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Bangladesh Khalfan Battal Ali Al-Mansouri along with other top officials of the gulf state's official airlines, Bangladeshi agents were awarded under two categories - Perishable Cargo Sales and Cargo Sales.
The Platinum Award went to Transmarine Logistics ltd, Gold Award to SG Logistics (Pvt) Ltd and Silver Award to Expo-Lanka Bangladesh Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ali Al-Mansouri appreciated local cargo agents for their remarkable job in promoting Etihad's air-cargo service among local exporters.
"Volume of cargo transportation by Etihad has increased significantly over the years," he said adding that the awards are meant to acknowledge their (agents') contributions.
