ETV off approved list because of writ petition: Govt

The information ministry Wednesday said the private television channel ETV was not put on the list of 12 approved local TV stations as a writ petition was lying pending with the High Court over its broadcast. The ministry released a handout a day after the government had published a list of 12 local and 29 foreign TV channels having approval for broadcast. --- bdnews24.com
