European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bangladesh William Hanna on Tuesday renewed the call for dialogue among political parties to have a long-term political stability averting ‘confrontation’ and ‘violence’ to help Bangladesh grow further. “The prospect of this country looks very good…today we simply renew that (dialogue) call. Dialogue is as necessary as ever. Confrontation and violence are never the way forward,” he said during his interactions with diplomatic correspondents at the city’s Ruposhi Bangla Hotel. Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) arranged the event - Dcab Talks - with its President Mainul Alam in the chair. The diplomat said Bangladesh’s economic growth has been quite strong and it needs to remove all the obstacles with adequate infrastructure facilities to attract more foreign investments, according to a news agency.
