Euro Famous emerge champion

Euro Famous Club emerged champions in the Metropolis Third Division Football League beating Gazirchot Sporting Club by 3-1 goals in the title deciding match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
The fate of the match was decided in the extra time, as neither of the sides could score in the stipulated 80 minutes.
Dolon put Euro Famous Club ahead in the 85th minute (1-0) while Murad doubled the margin in the 87th minute (2-0). Salahuddin scored the third goal for the champions in the 98th minute (3-0) while Sabbir netted the consolation goal for Gazirchot Sporting Club in the 99th minute (3-1).
Earlier in the third place decider, Matuail Udoyon Songsod beat Friends Social Welfare Organisation by 3-2 goals played at the same venue.
Choumrin Rakhain put Friends Social Welfare Organisation ahead in the 12th minute (1-0) while Mosharraf levelled the margin for Matuail Udoyon Songsod in the 28th minute (1-1).
After the breather, Choumrin again put his side in to lead in the 71st minute (2-1) but Syed Rashed Turjo restored parity in the 79th minute (2-2).
After completion of the stipulated 80 minutes, Sailesh Chandra Barman scored the match winner for Matuail Udoyon Songsod in the 102nd minute.
