Eva takes solo lead

Nazrana Khan Eva of Manikganj took solo lead in the Arlin Developer 32nd National Women's Chess Championship securing four-and-a-half points after the fifth round match at the Chess Federation hall room in the city Sunday, reports UNB.
Defending champion and International Women's Master Shamima Akhter Liza of Narayanganj and International Women's Master Rani Hamid of Titas Club followed the leader neck and neck collecting four points each after the 5th round matches.
Standings after the 5th round: Eva 5 points, Lisa, Rani Hamid 4 points, Shirin 3.5 points, Moly 3 points, Moni 2.5 points, Zakia, Masuda, Runu 2 points, Nupur 1.5 points, Titlee and Tany 0.5 point.
Today's 6th round matches are: Liza vs Runu, Moni vs Titlee, Eva vs Rani, Tani vs Zakia, Shirin vs Nupur, Moly vs Masuda.
