Ex-BCL leader shot dead in Ctg

A former leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was gunned downed in Chittagong city Tuesday night.
The victim Mehedi Hasan Badal, 41 was former president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Panchlaish thana. Mehedi was now active with Awami Juba League politics, locals and police told a news agency.
Bayezid Police said he was shot in front of his residence at Sher Shah Colony at around 11pm last night.
Locals and police rushed him to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead after admission, said SI Zahirul Islam of the CMCH police out post.
