CHITTAGONG, Sept 28: The country's capital market will be heading towards sustainability compared to its size, said former president of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Shakil Rizvi.
The ongoing momentum and sustained activity level have created optimism among the investors, and the result is that all indices are moving ahead, he said.
He suggested that the investors must have to be patient in the capital market, which will ultimately bring stability to the market and fortune to the investors.
"Ups and downs are the norms of the market. But there is least possibility of loss, if the traders invest thoughtfully and patiently."
"The price of a share has soared four to five times. But the company is not gaining. It means you will have to be very careful about it. There is big danger ahead, if you go beyond the fundamentals of a portfolio," he added.
Mr. Rizvi, director of DSE and managing director of Shakil Rizvi Stock Ltd, said these at a view exchange meeting with the investors at Chittagong branch of the brokerage house at Agrabad in the city on Sunday afternoon.
President of Chittagong Investors' Forum Aslam Morshed and joint convenor MA Kader, and Shakil Rizvi Stock Chittagong branch in-charge Zahed Ali, among others, were present on the occasion.
