Ex-Indian president Abdul Kalam due Friday

APJ Abdul Kalam, the former president of India and renowned nuclear scientist, is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Friday (October 17) on invitation of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). During his visit, APJ Abdul Kalam will attend a programme to be organised in the city by the MCCI on the occasion of its 110th founding anniversary. Besides, he will join another function in the city and will address a programme at a city hotel, according to a news agency.
