Ex-Jamaat MP among 22 sued for Jubo League activist killing

CHITTAGONG, Mar 4 (BSS): A case was lodged with Satkhania thana against 22 people, including ex-MP and Jamaat city Ameer Maolana Shamsul Islam, Tuesday in connection with the murder of a Jubo League activist in Satkania Upazila of the district Sunday.
Mohammad Alam Ali, uncle of slain Jubo league leader Hasan filed the case with Satkhania thana against 22 identified people and 10/12 unidentified ones this morning.
Khaled Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkania thana said among the accused, police arrested one Jasimuddin (35), from Kanchana area Monday night.
Mohammad Hasan a Jubo League activist of Satkhania thana was stabbed and shot dead by some miscreants at Fultola in Satkania Upazila Sunday night.
