Ex-minister Mannan\\\'s wife surrenders

Former housing and public works minister Abdul Mannan Khan’s wife Hasina Sultana surrendered before a Dhaka court on Thursday in connection with a case filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC). Hasina Sultana, accused of concealing wealth information in the case filed by the ACC earlier this year, surrendered at the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Dhaka, and sought bail in the morning. Her counsel Abul Kalam Azad said that the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan will hear on the bail plea. Mannan, also a leader of the ruling party, was housing and works  minister during the Awami League-led grand alliance government of 2009-2013, according to bdnews24.com.
