Ex-MP Majibor Rahman's sixth death anniversary observed

The sixth death anniversary of former member of parliament (MP) and ex-chairman of Land Ministry Standing Committee of the seventh Jatiya Sangsad Majibor Rahman Talukder was observed Thursday.
Talukder died of heart attack at an electioneering meeting at his constituency (Barguna-3) a day after being nominated for general election under the Awami League (AL) ticket.
Talukder was the Bangabandhu-nominated candidate for the general election of 1970 as a provincial assembly member. He was also elected MP in the general elections of 1991 and 1996 respectively.
