Ex-MP Masud Uddin Chy shown arrested

A Dhaka court on Monday showed former Feni-3 lawmaker Lt Gen (Retd) Masud Uddin Chowdhury arrested in a case lodged over allegations of embezzling Tk 1.19 billion (119 crore) through sending workers to Malaysia, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz passed the order as Chowdhury was produced before the court and the investigation officer pleaded to show him arrested in the case.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against former Feni-3 MP and retired Lieutenant General Masud Uddin Chowdhury, over allegations of embezzling Tk 1.19 billion through irregularities in sending workers to Malaysia.
