Ex-Rab officer Rana also arrested

Police on Sunday arrested another ex-Rab officer, MM Rana, from Dhaka Cantonment area in connection with the Narayanganj 7-murder case. Former Lt Commander of Bangladesh Navy MM Rana was held a day after the Narayanganj district police arrested two other wanted ex-Rab officers – former Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad and ex-Major Arif Hossain of Bangladesh Army – from the same area on Saturday morning. Contacted, duty officer of Cantonment Police Station Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam said Narayanganj district police with the help of Cantonment thana arrested MM Rana from the Cantonment area around 1:30am and took him to Narayanganj, according to UNB.
