Ex-state minister Enamur sent to jail, as remand ends

A Dhaka court has sent to jail former state minister for disaster management and relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman in a case lodged over the killing of hawker Sagor in the city's Mirpur area during the student-led July-August mass uprising, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saifuzzaman passed the order on Sunday as police produced Enamur before the court after the end of his six-day remand in the case and pleaded to keep him behind the bars.
