Exam drill : Learning from past mistakes

FE Special
WHEN examinations knock at the door, many students regret. They find that their preparation is not good. They start realising that they do not have good preparation for the examination. They repeatedly face the same situation in life-year after year.
In order to come out of such vicious circle, students need to think and write down mistakes they did during the past semester/academic year. They need to keep the page hanging on the table so that they can see it all the time and take corrective action.
Not to repeat the past mistakes can be a great quality in life. What happens in reality is we make same mistakes again and again and we remain in the vicious circle. The successful people, on the other hand, learn from the mistakes and they do not repeat the same mistakes.
It is very unfortunate that we do not want to learn from the past. If we could learn from the past, things could be much easier at present and future would be automatically good.
For reviewing your past mistakes of the last semester/year, you can ask yourself such questions as (see table below)
The above questions, however, might vary from person to person.
When you will ask such questions to yourself, you will be evaluating yourself better. Promise that you would take up all the corrective measures. When you will see these questions, answers and your own plan about corrective measures whenever you are at the study table, you will surely feel like taking initiatives and your current semester/year will definitely be more effective.
Only through continuous efforts, you can remove your past mistakes. You will be a more promising student with less mistakes in your academic performance.
