A controversy has arisen when authorities of a government college decided to hold annual examinations at homes. A media report said there is no permission from the education ministry or the education board for such examinations. College authorities and some officials are enthusiastic about the exams while others opposed such idea. Clearly, they are engaged in debates when students are out of classes and some institutions are taking online classes.
Use of unfair means in public exams is also a point of contention when the students would appear in exams at home. If education system is made creative, open book exams will not be a problem. Time has come to bring such changes.
