Execution of Momin murder case verdict demanded

JSD Chattra League will stage a human chain in front of the National Press Club in the city today (Saturday) demanding execution of verdict in Mohammad Quamrul Islam Momin murder case. Momin was the former vice-president of Dhaka City unit of the party. JSD Chhatra League President Shamsul Islam Sumon announced the programme at a milad mahfil (pescial prayers) marking the 9th death anniversary of Momin at his residence at Kafrul of Mirpur in the city. On July 20, 2011, Speedy Trial Tribunal-4, Dhaka, had awarded capital punishment to three persons and life-term imprisonment to four others for killing Momin, according to a news agency.
