Executives of BCS (Taxation) Association take over

The new committee of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Taxation) Association took over the charge on Monday for the 2018-2019 tenure, aiming to work with full professionalism for betterment of the members.
The departing committee handed over the charge to the new committee at a joint meeting held on the National Board of Revenue (NBR) office premises.
Newly-elected president (tax commissioner) Selim Afzal and secretary general (additional commissioner) Md Nuruzzaman Khan took over the charge from the outgoing president Md Abdur Razzaque (member of tax administration and human resource management) and secretary general Md Alamgir Hossain.
At the meeting, Mr Afzal vowed to work dedicatedly for the betterment of the members and sought cooperation from all to run the association.
The election to the association was held on December 30, 2017 at a city hotel.
Tax commissioner Radhe Sham Roy acted as the chief election commissioner while tax commissioner Apurba Kanti Das as election commissioner and NBR first secretary (tax) Abu Md Quamrul Hassan as member secretary in the election.
