Exhibitions for textile, garment sector begins on July 26

Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd, USA in association with CEMS-Bangladesh will organise three exhibitions in one go, namely, 8th Textech Bangladesh 2007 International Expo", "4th Machinexpo Bangladesh 2007" and "Dhaka International Fabric Show 2007", showcasing textile and garment machinery, accessories, chemicals, general machinery, all kinds of machinery and power generation systems, international yarn and fabric manufacturers, targeted not only to the textile and garment world but also to the entire export sector of Bangladesh, said a press release.
This biggest exhibition will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC) in the city from July 26 to July 29, 2007.
The industry of Bangladesh has the key position in the export sector. Keeping in mind the potential of this sector and to further boost the exports, CEMS has been organising the Textech since eight years now as there is a need for such exhibition which displays the latest technology that Bangladesh can obtain to update with the quality of the competitors in the world market.
With the ever increasing competition in the world market, the industries of Bangladesh can expand their share in the market abroad and at the same time can attract more foreign investment in the highly potential industries, specialty the garment and textile industry.
Over 250 exhibitors from over 15 countries are participating in these exhibitions. These three exhibitions in one go, targeted to the entire business community, will play an important role by assembling worldwide machinery manufacturers at the doorsteps of the manufacturers of Bangladesh under one roof to appraise them of the latest developments and technology available for them.
Texprocit -- the cotton textiles export promotion council of India -- and PDEXCIL -- powerloom development and export promotion council -- India have endorsed the Dhaka International Fabric Show 2007 and their member companies representing India's biggest names in yarn and fabric manufacturers and exporters will also participate in the show.
The exhibitions will be open for trade visitors everyday from 10.30 am to 8 pm.
