EXIM Bank holds half-yearly managers' confce

Export Import (EXIM) Bank of Bangladesh Limited held its Half-Yearly Branch Managers' Conference 2007 at a city hotel Saturday.
Board of Directors Chairman Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder was present as chief guest while Managing Director Kazi Masihur Rahman presided over the conference.
Directors AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Abdullah Al Zahir Swapan, Md Nurul Amin Faruq, DMDs Ekramul Haque, Md Sirajul Islam Bhuyan, all branch managers and executives of head office also attended the conference.
Nazrul Islam urged the managers to achieve the targets fixed by the management for the year 2007.
Managing Director emphasised overall growth of the bank's activities so that a sustainable business development can be achieved.
The meeting evaluated the performance of last six months, and adopted necessary strategies and action plan to achieve the bank's target for the remaining period of the year.
