EXIM Bank provides Tk 0.9m aid to city slum dwellers

EXIM Bank provided financial assistance worth Tk 0.9 million (9.0 lakh) to the slum dwellers at Gonoktoli colony in the city recently, who sustained losses in the recent fire that gutted their shanties.
EXIM Bank Audit Committee Chairman and its foundation Secretary General AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul disbursed cash money among the slum dwellers in the city Tuesday, says a press release.
Also present on the occasion were Bank Director Md Shahidullah, Acting Managing Director Md Aminur Rahman, BDR Deputy Assistant Director Nurul Huda, local word commissioner Md Mujibur Rahman Maju, Executive Vice-president of the bank Mamun Mahmud, Senior Vice-president and head of HRD Shah Md Abdul Bari and Company Secretary Golam Mahbub.
