Expatriate's wife hacked to death in Narayanganj

NARAYANGANJ, Jan 20 (UNB): A housewife was hacked to death by some miscreants at Sonakanda in Bandar upazila on Saturday noon.
The deceased was identified as Nahida Rahman, 35, wife of Singapore expatriate Asinur Rahman of the area here.
Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bandar Police Station, said some miscreants carried out the attack at her house and hacked her indiscriminately, leaving her dead on the spot from excessive loss of blood around 1:30 pm.
Later, they set fire to the house and fled the scene.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.
