Expatriate\\\'s wife killed in Satkhira

The wife of an expatriate has been killed by unknown assailant in Satkhira district. Police recovered the body of the victim from inside a septic tank of a technical college building in Tala upazila. The deceased was identified as Shahanara Begum, wife of Shahidul Goldar, a Malaysian expatriate and mother of two children. Mamunur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Patkelghata Police Station, said Shahanara went missing on January 4 from her father’s residence in Baghmara village of the upazila. After a search, locals found the body inside the septic tank of a bathroom of Akhtaruzzaman Technical College around 2:30pm on Tuesday and informed police who recovered the body. Police also detained the night guard of the institution for interrogation, according to UNB.
