Expert report on Padma Bridge tomorrow: Minister

Experts will submit the project inception report along with a presentation on what the proposed Padma Bridge will be like tomorrow (Thursday), the communication minister said Tuesday. The bridge is expected to be completed by 2013, Syed Abul Hossain said while inaugurating a postgraduate certificate course on 'Management of land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation' organised by BRAC University. The Padma Bridge will connect Shariatpur, Madaripur and Munshiganj districts, the minister said. "The area of land to be affected by the bridge in Madaripur district has been assessed. The Ministry of Communications has informed the government of it, Hossain said.
