Experts focus on integrated initiative to ensure youth dev

RAJSHAHI, Nov 03 (BSS): Experts at a discussion underscored the need for taking an integrated measure involving government and non-government organisations to sustain the process of youth development.
They said attention should be given on training of youth, existing laws and prevention of cyber crimes.
District Administration and the Department of Youth Development (DYD) arranged the discussion at auditorium of Teachers Training College in Rajshahi city yesterday, marking the National Youth Day-2018.
Chaired by Additional District Magistrate Nasima Khatun, the discussion was addressed, among others, by Assistant Superintendent of Police Raihanul Kabir, DYD Deputy Director Motiur Rahman and Coordinator of Youth Training Centre Sabiar Rahman.
Making his power-point presentation, Dr Abdur Rahman, Assistant Professor of Department of Social Work at Rajshahi College, said the present youth development policy promotes youth exchange programmes among different countries, but this exchange should not be limited at international level.
