Friday, 21 August 2015

President Abdul Hamid on Thursday asked the Bangladesh Ambassador to Greece to take steps to explore market for Bangladeshi products, especially medicine, garments, ceramic, jute and jute goods, in Greece. Abdul Hamid made the directive when newly appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to Greece Jashim Uddin paid a courtesy call on the President at Bangabhaban. During the meeting, the President asked the envoy to continue to work for brightening Bangladesh’s image abroad, president’s press secretary Joynal Abedin said. The envoy sought direction from the President so that he could continue to play the due role in improving the image of Bangladesh and strengthen Bangladesh’s relations, especially in trade and commerce, with Greece, according to a news agency.
