Exploring online training programmes
Friday, 3 June 2022
Learning is a continuous process. It helps individuals reach their true potential. The freelancing marketplace in Bangladesh is full of diverse and talented professionals who stay updated on the latest trends and are constantly trying to sharpen their skills. There are countless online training programmes that can help empower the youth with marketable skills, which are in high demand in the freelance industry. Furthermore, bringing women and young girls into this digital marketplace will not only boost the size of the domestic economy, but also increase competitiveness, address growing demands, and allow for more families to meet their education, health, and lifestyle needs.
The goal of these programmes is to create a strong workforce for the future, which will be shaped by the Fourth Industrial Wave. We can already see that companies have extensively begun outsourcing key roles to individuals who have the skills and the determination to provide services that were previously handled by the companies themselves. This is where taking an initiative is necessary. The authorities concerned should support such learning programmes in order to help boost the economy.
