Explosion at CHT regional council office damages 5 vehicles

RANGAMATI, Sept 22 (UNB): Five vehicles were damaged following a blast at Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Regional Council Office in Sadar Upazila early Monday.
Witnesses said the explosion occurred with a big bang on the premises of the council office around 3:30 am. However, none was hurt in the incident.
Police, intelligence forces and army cordoned off the area following the blast and a team of army explosives experts collected some evidences from the spot.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohamamd Mostafa Kamal and other senior officials of the local administration visited the spot.
