Expressions celebrates Ramendu's achievement

Expressions organised a get-together titled 'Lets Celebrate' at a local hotel recently in honour of cultural personality Ramendu Majumder. Mr Majumder, president of Bangladesh chapter of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), had been elected as the new worldwide president of the organisation during its 32nd world congress held in Madrid in last September.
Former adviser and advertising personality Geetiara Safiya Choudhury offered him formal reception by a flower bouquet, says a press release.
National Professor Kabir Chowdhury, Adviser for Cultural Affairs Rasheda K Chowdhury, former adviser Syed Manzur Elahi, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser M Tarmin, Partex Group Vice Chairman Aziz Al-Kaiser Tito, Channel-i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar, advertising and theatre personality Sara Zaker, writer Syed Shamsul Haque and theatre personality Nasiruddin Yusuf Bacchu spoke on this occasion.
The speakers expressed the hope that the achievement of Ramendu Majumder would bring a great change in theatre. They applauded the selection as one of the most eligible representatives of the country in the world theatre.
