Extortion case against two cops

A case has been filed against two police officers with a court in Dhaka accusing them of extorting Tk 0.2 million (2 lakh) from a trader by threatening him with crossfire. M Zakir Hossain filed the case against officer-in-charge of Ramna Model Police Station Mohammad Mashiur Rahman and sub-inspector Jamal Hossain of New Market Police Station with the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mizanur Rahman Sunday.
