Extrajudicial killing crime against humanity: Dr Kamal

Gonoforum president and eminent jurist Dr Kamal Hossain Monday said extrajudicial killing is a crime against humanity.
“I would like to state it clearly that extrajudicial killing is a crime against humanity and a punishable offence,” he told a meeting with party presidium members at its central office in the morning.
 “Now the panicked people seek the security of their lives. But the law enforcers, whose duty is to save public life and property, are involved in the incidents of extrajudicial killing and disappearance. As citizens we’re deeply concerned,” Dr Kamal said.
The Gonoforum president said people want the security of their lives and property, and the rule of law in the country.
He urged the government to stop all the illegal activities and bring the criminals to justice to restore peace in society, according to a news agency.
