Face economic problems jointly: Muhith

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has called upon the people of the country to unite to remove economic problems. ‘To remove all economic problems alone is somewhat difficult. We will have to remove all economic problems unitedly,’ he said while addressing a seminar organised by South Asian Network of Economic Research Institute, held in Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Saturday. Terming political instability a threat to development, the minister observed that the politics of the country has remained stable for the last 8 months. He said the stability in politics of the country in the last 8 months has been conducive to the economy. At present the economic challenges have become easy to surmount if faced jointly, he added, according to a news agency.
