Factional clash leaves 10 BCL men injured

MYMENSINGH, Dec 30 (bdnews24.com): At least 10 BCL activists of Mymensingh Medical College unit were injured in a factional clash that erupted over establishment of supremacy on the campus early Wednesday.
Witnesses said the two groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) remained locked in battle from 3am to 5am.
Additional Superintendent of Police SM Akhteruzzaman told reporters that the clash ensued from an altercation between the activists of Jahid-Royal group and Rony-Pallab group at the hostel in Bagmara area at around 3am.
On getting information, the police rushed to the spot at about 5:30am and brought the situation under control, he said.
